Over the previous decade, our Client Services area has built a reputation on responsiveness, knowledge, accuracy and innovation. In fact, SGC led the industry by being one of the first institutional managers to implement an internet-based system for distributing client reports. We have built on this technology to provide our clients with web-based access to their portfolio characteristics. We believe that these types of value-added innovations will create efficiencies for SGC and our clients.
The Client Services Area of SGC is primarily responsible
for preparing and transmitting periodic client statements
which are designed to to meet the specific requirements of
each client. The reports that are included in the client statements
are primarily generated from our portfolio accounting software,
PORTIA, (Portfolio Reporting, Trading, and Investment Analysis).
Other areas of responsibility include portfolio reconciliation,
performance measurement, portfolio pricing, and client consultation.
